This is almost brand new breaking news shit, this is. It only had 309 views when I was sent it this morning, and in the space of a few hours it’s approaching 3,000. It’s like being a real games journalist.
Apparently it’s all pre-rendered (so not gameplay, don’t get excited, you bum-face) and made by some fans (or one fan, I dunno), but my, does it not look lovely? I don’t think this is going to do Sonic 4 any favours.
Thanks for sending it over, Sawan.
You can catch loads of people from the internet talking about it over at NeoGaf.

Anyone played that Kane & Lynch 2 demo? I couldn’t tell what the fuck was going on. At all. It was all dark, and loads of people from another country kept trying to shoot me for reasons I could not understand. I kept shouting at the screen in vain, “Please! Stop shooting at me! I’m probably middle aged and am wearing a vest! I look like I haven’t had a wash in a few weeks! What’s going on?!”
I also found that spraying gunfire wildly at anything I could just about make out was a lot more effective that actually trying to pick off individual targets.
As I played, I thought of Sonic’s green hills and blue skies, and I felt a great sadness and longing.
That is my impression of the Kane & Lynch 2 demo.
I like the fact it is pretending to be a Youtube video, that’s clever.
Some new BioShock Infinite screens have appeared in that horrible place called the internet today, look at them:
You can see them at a much bigger size over at Eurogamer, complete with obnoxious comments from children with no friends.

Of course I love Sonic Colours, of course I do. And I’ll tell you what is helping me to love it, videos such as this:
The music has that lovely SEGA cheese that is absolutely necessary for maximum enjoyment of anything. If you play it when you’re cooking/at work/attempting to pleasure yourself (or all three), suddenly the task ceases to be tedious and soul destroying, it becomes the best thing you’ve ever done.
Aside from the excellent music, the game also clearly contains Sonic running and jumping on things a bit like he did in the best bits of Sonic Unleashed. You can’t go wrong, really.
You’ll never guess when it’s out, not unless you’ve already read the announcement on another site yesterday (like I did). It’s out on November 12th on Wii and DS in Europe, November 16th in the US.
That means that we’ve won, Britain. We have defeated America.
Good work.

You may not have noticed, but I have no clue what to write here at the moment. There are still games that are lovely coming out but I can’t seemed to get motivated enough to rant on and on about them on here. Anyway, since I’m around you can have some videos, which seems to have become our “thing”. Prepare to be thrilled until your nether regions shrivel up.
American McGee’s doing a sequel to Alice (not on his own obviously). The old one was ace. The new one will probably be good as well.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is coming together nicely. Bit of info on it here.
THE LATEST CRAIG NEWS:
Craig has made a full map picture thing from his excellent game Treasure Treasure: Fortress Forage.
END OF LATEST CRAIG NEWS.
Thanks for reading.

If there’s one game from this year’s E3 that’s grabbed me by the furry man plums and refuses to let go, it’s Metal Gear Solid Rising. Have a look at the trailer and see if you can wrestle your knackers away from it.
Look at all that cutting – arms and legs everywhere! He even chops a bloody car in half!
No longer does it carry the ‘Tactical Espionage Action’ moniker either, this is ‘Lightning Bolt Action’. Which suggests it’s less about mincing about in boxes and more about slicing shit up. I’d hate to be the one trying to get that past the ratings boards!

Fuck me, Karl’s back! Where have you been Karl? I have missed you.
Anyway, onto today’s garbage from me:
Epic Mickey is looking glorious:
Remember when I actually used to write stuff and not just post videos bookended by mostly unrelated shit?
No, me neither.
Cheers, Cartoon Brew.

Have you ever played Flower on the PlayStation3? I have – it’s alright. A bit repetitive and somewhat pointless, but an overall pleasant experience. It’s got plenty of flowers in it too, so girls can play it. It’ll keep a girl entertained for anything up to an hour! Great for keeping the girlfriend out of mischief, eh? (or so I’m told).
Well the people that made Flower are called thatgamecompany and they’re making another game. Here, have a look:
According to the internet, which is usually right when it comes to knowing things, it’s an ‘online adventure experience’ called Journey.
Apparently, the player has the option to go solo or knock about with real life strangers and, in doing so, can ‘re-shape the experience’. Plus, it features ’grand landscapes filled with dynamic sand and cloth’, so it’s sure to prove popular in that particular niche. If you were hoping for more floating petals though, you’re probably out of luck.

I quite like the look of this Sonic Colours business. I don’t care what you think.
Potentially another not shit Sonic game, hopefully like Unleashed (I really did like it) but without having to pretend to be Kratos in the middle of things.

I’d risk being current if I started going on about that new Microsoft Kinect business. Suffice to say it sounds like it will be nothing particularly exciting for us “real” gamers, but quite fun for everyone else that actually knows how to have fun and socialise and enjoy life and all that. I reckon it’s a good thing, even if the Eurogamer commentors probably don’t (because they appear to be mostly cocks).
It looks like this:
It will have games about sports, and dancing, and playing with animal pets, and it will be out in November. I’m not excited, but I’m not annoyed, which is almost the same as being excited.
I guess I did get a bit current (relatively) there.
I came here to talk about nothing in particular. There’s a new XCOM trailer which looks tossing astonishing and I love it:
Seems to be angering long time fans, but hey, sod it. I’ve watched from behind a rainy window as Sonic has been callously bummed in the mouth by all manner of twsited bastards for years, now it’s your turn, XCOM fans. No idea when it’s out but I’ll be being robbed of £40 when it is.
A Transformers: War for Cybertron multiplayer demo is out! I have played it. I will never be able to judge it fairly because it has Optimus Prime’s voice in it which automatically means it is a 10/10 extravaganza. If I was an astonishingly homosexual man I would say it is “fantabulous”. You can read more actual impressions about it here (near the bottom).
And obviously Mario Galaxy 2 is a flawless piece of wonderment, like the previous incarnation. Well done.
That is all for today. I’m not going to cover E3 like I did last year, it was very tiring.
