Fuck me, Karl’s back! Where have you been Karl? I have missed you.
Anyway, onto today’s garbage from me:
Epic Mickey is looking glorious:
Remember when I actually used to write stuff and not just post videos bookended by mostly unrelated shit?
No, me neither.
Cheers, Cartoon Brew.

Have you ever played Flower on the PlayStation3? I have – it’s alright. A bit repetitive and somewhat pointless, but an overall pleasant experience. It’s got plenty of flowers in it too, so girls can play it. It’ll keep a girl entertained for anything up to an hour! Great for keeping the girlfriend out of mischief, eh? (or so I’m told).
Well the people that made Flower are called thatgamecompany and they’re making another game. Here, have a look:
According to the internet, which is usually right when it comes to knowing things, it’s an ‘online adventure experience’ called Journey.
Apparently, the player has the option to go solo or knock about with real life strangers and, in doing so, can ‘re-shape the experience’. Plus, it features ’grand landscapes filled with dynamic sand and cloth’, so it’s sure to prove popular in that particular niche. If you were hoping for more floating petals though, you’re probably out of luck.

Jesus Christ. I’ve been getting so caught up with all this E3 NONSENSE that I forgot to have a look on TIGSource for stuff to rob for the site.
I found this!
Looks alright, that. Coming 2011 allegedly. What happened to Owl Boy? Is that still on its way?
Thanks, TIGSource.

I quite like the look of this Sonic Colours business. I don’t care what you think.
Potentially another not shit Sonic game, hopefully like Unleashed (I really did like it) but without having to pretend to be Kratos in the middle of things.

Look, a video from a couple of weeks ago about Mario by animator Cory Godbey:
Very nice, well done.
Thanks for that, Cartoon Brew.

I’d risk being current if I started going on about that new Microsoft Kinect business. Suffice to say it sounds like it will be nothing particularly exciting for us “real” gamers, but quite fun for everyone else that actually knows how to have fun and socialise and enjoy life and all that. I reckon it’s a good thing, even if the Eurogamer commentors probably don’t (because they appear to be mostly cocks).
It looks like this:
It will have games about sports, and dancing, and playing with animal pets, and it will be out in November. I’m not excited, but I’m not annoyed, which is almost the same as being excited.
I guess I did get a bit current (relatively) there.
I came here to talk about nothing in particular. There’s a new XCOM trailer which looks tossing astonishing and I love it:
Seems to be angering long time fans, but hey, sod it. I’ve watched from behind a rainy window as Sonic has been callously bummed in the mouth by all manner of twsited bastards for years, now it’s your turn, XCOM fans. No idea when it’s out but I’ll be being robbed of £40 when it is.
A Transformers: War for Cybertron multiplayer demo is out! I have played it. I will never be able to judge it fairly because it has Optimus Prime’s voice in it which automatically means it is a 10/10 extravaganza. If I was an astonishingly homosexual man I would say it is “fantabulous”. You can read more actual impressions about it here (near the bottom).
And obviously Mario Galaxy 2 is a flawless piece of wonderment, like the previous incarnation. Well done.
That is all for today. I’m not going to cover E3 like I did last year, it was very tiring.

I guess we’re following this game now:
By “following” I mean regurgitating vidoes that were released a couple of days ago that you may have seen somewhere else. Pretty much standard eolb, you should be used to it now.
Looks bloody good though doesn’t it?
Oh, and Snoopy Flying Ace is fantastic. I came first in an online battle! I’ve never done that before! Up yours, American kids!
Fucking amazing.

Who gives a shit, Web 2.0 and all that bollocks, right?
Earthworm Jim HD is out this month, I can’t remember when. Earthworm Jim is ace, and this looks exactly the same as Earthworm Jim, except not as good because it’s all modern.
There’s no pleasing us internet tossers, is there?
It has new bits and co-op, according to that. Not sure how that will work. I don’t like new things.
Still, I’ll probably get it in another pointless attempt to remember the joy of being a child.
You buggers, Gameloft, you sexy buggers.

I imagine you already know this, but I’m a bit of a geek. I used to be more of a geek than I am now, and at that time I was into Transformers.
Part of that love for gigantic metal robot men still sits deep within my soul today, which is why I am finding this video of the upcoming Transformers: War for Cybertron entertaining.
You probably don’t get anything out of that.
You are probably a lot cooler than me.
Game’s out June 22nd I believe, and I’ll be throwing my money at it like the disgusting man-child I have become.

I was cocking around on Xbox Live last night seeing what arcade games were out, and then I saw this video of that Snoopy game from ages ago that hasn’t come out yet:
I like those Peanuts folks a lot, and I also like Crimson Skies, and this looks like it may be a bit like Crimson Skies but with Peanuts folks in it. Holy fucking yes.
It’s out June 2nd. Bag it like you mean it.
Pictures:
Oh my, how lovely!
Until next week, then, official site.
