I really don’t like how it looks in motion. Sonic’s animation is a bit arse. I like the blurry shoes but the jumping and the normal running is strange. Maybe it will look better on my standard definition 14” TV.

Only time will tell, but rest assured, my pants are refreshingly dry in regards to this game.

If you are any kind of reasonable human being you may be aware that Yakuza 3 is out on PS3 now, and it is quite probably ace. I haven’t got a PS3 and thus cannot find out, but it looks ace, and is supposed to be a bit like Shenmue, which was ace.

But did you know that the Yakuza aren’t just pretend people from SEGA games, and that they actually exist?!

I should tossing hope so. Either way, BoingBoing have a Q&A with some woman that knows stuff about the real Yakuza, and it’s quite interesting.

Here I am again, ‘pimping’ games by my mates. This time it’s Flying Squirrel Games with Avatar Bumper Cars. It’s not about those tall blue blokes from the cinema, it’s about those little freakish blokes you can create on the Xbox 360.

They can’t be arsed selling it for a socially acceptable price so it’s only 80 MSPs (less than a quid), which is less than you spend on those dirty phone lines for a minute of raunchy talk with a fifty year old woman!

Avatar Bumper Cars is a 1-4 player arena battle game. Watch your avatar take control of a bumper car in one of 5 different arenas and face off against either your friends or the computer in an action packed battle! Use your car’s spikes to hit their gas cans and send them flying out of the arena. Will you be the last man standing?

Will I be the last man standing? Will I? I just don’t know. Maybe I should find out by buying the game.

The Flying Squirrel men are doing competitions to give away free codes for the game, all you have to do is comply to their orders without asking any questions. Keep checking their site for more giveaway business. We’ll be giving one away soon as well, I just need to think of a decent question.

UpBot Goes Up is Craig’s new puzzle game coming to Xbox  Live Indie Games, iPhone, and Flash. He’s making it with people called LeFishy and Bateleur, who he met at TIGJam UK earlier in the year. I’m assuming they have real names, like Keith and Jerry, but I don’t know.

But it’s not just a game that you and I can enjoy, it’s a game that people who are colour blind can enjoy as well! I’ve heard it all now.

We seem to only be able to post videos, or stuff about games that my mates are making at the moment. Sorry about that. I’d like to say that normal service will resume shortly, but I can’t really remember what that is. Suffice to say no gaming news has particularly excited me recently, not even Sonic 4. I was on Eurogamer today and apparently Resonance of Fate and Metro 2033 are good, which is nice because they both look interesting.

I think my Xbox is breaking again, I was playing BioShock 2 and everything kept going pink and crazy, like last time. I am sad about this.

I still need to buy Bayonetta.

I’m busy moving house at the moment. Moving house takes bloody ages, especially when you’re working extra hours and have a tendency to get angry enough want  to punch things that are much sturdier than you at the slightest provocation.

Karl is not moving house, but is so busy at work that he doesn’t even have time to sex text me back at the moment.

These are the semi true reasons why we are lapsing at the moment. If you came here expecting this post to be about games, then you are disappointed by now I’m sure. Then again, I imagine you tend to be disappointed with our posts on a regular basis, so the sensation is probably familiar.

Since I’m here I’m going to tell you about the time I threw a glass at someone who was wearing a Sonic t-shirt.

HERE IS THE STORY:

Once, I saw a man wearing a t-shirt that may have been this one:

He was kissing his girlfriend in a laying down position, it was very rude and not appropriate for a public place. It didn’t annoy me or anything, I only noticed because of Sonic.

I was very drunk.

I had finished my drink, or found a glass with no liquid in it, I don’t remember. It was a plastic glass, but a hard one, like this:

Suddenly, I realised that if I threw that glass at that man with the Sonic t-shirt he would NEVER KNOW that it was me. There would be no repercussions at all. He was face down on his lady friend.

So I threw it at his back.

It was fucking amazing and I laughed for a very long time.

Been a bit rubbish with the updates recently haven’t we? It’s cool though, we keep getting baffling amounts of hits from people nicking those BioShock 2 wallpapers that Karl posted ages ago (that he nicked from somewhere else).

BioShock 2′s out, you know? Came out yesterday. I haven’t got it yet because everything is “going down for real and shit” in the world away from my computer screen. Karl is busy too, not on heroin for once.

I dropped by to tell you that 3D Dot Game Heroes has got a proper European release for May. You don’t even have to import it any more. You didn’t have to import it in the first place, to be fair, you gay. Could have just lived without it. Fuck’s sake.

But yeah, coming out in May. It looks lovely:

New game from those blokes that made Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers. It looks very nice. I would be willing to pay £7 – £10 for it.
